Hey I don’t know about you, but I think it is good news that we have freely received the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ.

Normally, I aim to write up to one post per month here. I want to steward what I believe the Lord has entrusted to me, and I want to be found faithful on that Day, but I also don’t want to churn up half-minded content just for the sake of ‘doing stuff.’ I want to be faithful with what has been given to me. 

I have an additional post here this month as I believe the Lord has given me a few dreams and visions for the wider church. 

1. The Mountain and the Avalanche

Around the third or fourth month of 2022, I had a dream where I was a soldier stationed in a military base which was located high atop a large, giant mountain. I believe there were other soldiers up there. The base itself was large and had a few buildings and vehicles, and the base was positioned pretty high up the mountain.

I remember I found myself in a room within one of the buildings, and a particular leader of a major oppressive world power entered the room and came against me. I disputed him and eventually overcame him. He then left the room and he was not seen again.

Shortly thereafter, a loud alarm began to sound throughout the base signaling the need to evacuate. So I evacuated the base alone and descended quickly down the mountain. However, when I approached the bottom of the mountain, I saw two distinct things. 

First, I saw a mighty avalanche pouring forth from the top of the mountain – glittering and brilliant and overpowering white snow descended from the top of the mountain. On the left and to the right of my vision, encompassing both sides of the mountain, the avalanche began to crash down the mountain.

However, directly in front of me – and encompassing my person – as I turned and looked back up the mountain, I saw the bottom half of a massive house already in place, and then I saw, as it were, the top half of the house essentially ‘fold over’ into place from behind the foundation, so that the house was made complete. 

And I myself was protected from the avalanche, because the house was so incredibly large that it was basically almost the same size as the mountain itself. It was almost as if the completed house was growing in size to become the same size as the mountain. The avalanche continued on both sides, but the avalanche did not harm the house at all. 

A fellow disciple once interpreted the avalanche as the righteous, purifying judgment of God being sent forth – I think she may have been right. When I think of the phenomenon of the house being completed, I think of these words: “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; His hands shall also finish it” (Zech. 4). I’m curious to know your thoughts – let me know in the comments or shoot me a message if you believe the Lord has revealed anything to you.

2. A Darkened Sun 

In the eleventh month of 2022, I had a dream where I passed through a pitch black realm where gold streaks of light shot across the blackness like lightning. Once I “passed through” the black realm, I saw a place like the sky, as if I were high up in the atmosphere. I saw two things in that place. 

First, I saw a darkened sun – as if the color of the sun had been turned to orange and then muted in color. Second, closer to me, I saw about 20 blue-colored souls sitting at a table. The souls were translucent in appearance, but were filled with a blue color. They were sitting at a table and communicating through technology very effectively. I personally did not hear anything, but I perceived that they were communicating highly effectively. 

With two other disciples, I came to the conclusion that this dream may be a warning of dark times ahead, along with an exhortation to communicate well during those times. Again, let me know if the Lord reveals anything to you. 

3. Fury Upon the Earth

In the tenth or eleventh month of 2023 – about a year later – I saw a vision during the day. I saw myself as the friend of God on the earth, and suddenly I saw a bright and radiant cloud of favor and glory surround me and encompass me. The cloud was both pink and blue and it surrounded me all around. I felt completely safe and protected and favored within that cloud.

The cloud then picked me up and lifted me up into the sky, where I then looked down upon the earth. Then, that same cloud began to beat apart the earth as if it were unleashing fury upon the earth. I saw the earth begin to crack open as in an earthquake. And I believe I heard the Lord say, “Twice heaven and earth will be shaken.” 

At minimum, this is an exhortation to be those who both hear and do the Word of God. Let’s actively turn from the ways of this lukewarm generation and follow the Lord.

4. The Four Women

In the twelfth month of 2023, I had a dream where I was at an event similar to a homecoming cookout or party. As I passed by, I saw four women who I’d previously gone to school with – and one of whom I’d previously worked with. The women were standing in a perfect circle, with one at 12:00, one at 3:00, one at 6:00, and the fourth at 9:00. As I passed by, I calmly greeted the one I’d known by name and continued on.

However, that one whom I’d greeted grew very excited to see me and shouted back at me to get my attention. She ran over to me very excited and began to talk to me. But then I perceived that her intentions – and the intentions of the women – were not pure. Although on the outside everything seemed fine and normal, I perceived that the women were consumed with lust and were only so excited so that they could get something from me. I eventually walked away.

From the north to the south, the east to the west,

This people has played the harlot.

They are self-seeking, self-willed, self-indulgent women who have not remained faithful to their first love. 

They pursue their own gain, their eyes are never satisfied, 

And their intentions are not pure. 

So is this people across the earth.

“As I live… I will say to these women, ‘I never knew you.’”

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matt. 7:22-23).

“This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent” (John 6:29).

The will of God is that we believe in the name of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, and that we love one another (cf. 1 John 3:23). Our lives are like trees: When we are connected to the root of David, then we are watered by His Spirit, and we are tended to and cultivated by the Father, who is the Good Gardener (Luke 13:6-9; John 15). We are only connected to the root of David by faith; and when we abide in Him, we bear good fruit.

If our roots are works of the Law – if our basis for living is an attempt to prove ourselves righteous in and of ourselves based off our own works, then we are estranged from Christ, only through whom come the watering and the tending and the cultivation. Without the right root (and therefore without the water and the cultivation), the fruit is lawlessness leading to death. The tree is good only to be chopped down and thrown into the fire. 

Therefore, let us believe in Jesus, who is the Word of God – and in believing, so do His commands. When I tell you that a train is headed straight for you, then if you believe me, you’ll move off the train tracks; but if you don’t believe me, you won’t move and you’ll get put down. So true faith, or belief, will always lead to the fruit of works, in due time. 

In a culture where Saul is so eager to throw a spear at David for no reason, remember the words of the true David, Jesus Christ: “Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. Moses is your accuser, on whom your hopes are set.”

“The just shall live by faith.”
